Friendly Creature originally formed in the Spring of 2009. After a summer haitus, filled with intense shedding and shredding of their favorite licks, this duo reunited in the Fall and began rehearsing new material. Friendly Creature strives to make free improvisation accessible without sacrificing creativity, and to create a uniquely large ensemble sound despite their small numbers.
